Dr. Saral Rai
Dentist
Dr. Saral Rai earned his degree from the University of Southern California in 2008, receiving the Academic Achievement Award and maintaining a consistent presence on The Dean’s list. With extensive expertise spanning cosmetic, restorative, surgical, and root canal treatments, Dr. Rai has a diverse background in dentistry and particularly enjoys working with children.
Married since 2003, Dr. Rai is a proud parent of two children. Beyond the dental practice, he cherishes quality time with family and friends, has a passion for travel, and is an avid sports enthusiast. His commitment to dentistry is complemented by a rich and fulfilling personal life.
Dr. Laura Margaritescu
Dentist
Enthusiastic and passionate Dentist, Dr. Laura Margaritescu joined our clinic in 2022. She is happy to bring her expertise in dental care, as well as her personal touch and human approach to her patients. Her ultimate goal is to provide them with optimal oral/dental health. Native of Romania, where she practiced dentistry before immigrating to Canada, Dr. Margaritescu received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Montreal in 2010. She is a member of the RCDSO, CDA, ODA, ODS, ODQ. Her mission is to provide exceptional dental care to both adults and children, in English and in French. With her professional approach focused on respect and gentleness, Dr. Margaritescu is dedicated to her patients by offering them a personalized dental treatment, performed with care in a pleasant atmosphere. All facets of dentistry interest her and she seeks constantly to hone her skills through continuous training and to be in the fine points of technological advances. The simple smile of a patient happy with her work gives her great satisfaction. On a personal level, Dr. Margaritescu is passionate about dance, travel, theatre and music.

Meet Denise, the familiar Irish voice that greets you when you call our practice. With an impressive 23 years of dedicated service, she not only knows our patients by their first names but also adds a friendly and lively touch to the office with her infectious laughter. Denise takes pride in making administrative processes a breeze for our patients, adeptly guiding them through treatment and insurance plans. Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Denise, when not at work, cherishes moments with her husband and daughter. Embracing a healthy lifestyle, she considers working out at the gym an integral part of her routine.
Amber
Hygiene Co-Ordinator
Meet Amber, the versatile addition to our Dental team who truly embodies the “Jack of all trades” spirit. While her primary responsibilities revolve around running sterilization, you’ll also find her extending a warm welcome at the front desk and providing valuable assistance to our Hygienists and Dentists as needed. Amber’s diverse hobbies, ranging from sewing, knitting, and baking to hiking, enjoying live music, and even participating in a knife-throwing league, showcase her keen eye for detail. Her multifaceted skills and interests contribute to the dynamic and welcoming atmosphere of our team.

Welcoming Tammy, our newest team member with an impressive 11-year background as a Dental Assistant. Tammy is renowned for her diligence and unwavering focus on patient care. Beyond the office, she finds joy in family moments and harbors a deep passion for fitness, demonstrating her commitment as a dedicated gym enthusiast.
Michelle
Dental Hygienist – (B.A., D.A. II, R.D.H.)
Since 1999, Michelle has been an integral part of our practice, joining shortly after graduating from Canadore College’s Dental Hygiene Program. Building caring and trusting relationships with her patients, Michelle is dedicated to enhancing their oral and overall health through education on preventive and self-care techniques. Hailing from Newfoundland, she enjoys spending quality time with her partner Steven and their four boys when not in the office. Michelle’s passion lies in running, particularly marathons and adventure racing.
Allison
Dental Hygienist
Allison, a graduate of CNIH in 2008 and recipient of the Dean’s Award of Excellence, is a passionate dental professional evident in the joyful atmosphere of her operatory. Her dedication revolves around aiding individuals in achieving optimal oral health through guidance in homecare routines, oral cancer screenings, and regular maintenance like scaling, root planing, and periodontal assessments. Despite the seemingly mundane aspects, patients find enjoyment in their visits with Allison. Beyond her dental pursuits, Allison indulges in interests like running, soccer, gardening, and keeping up with her two lively boys during her leisure time.
Diane
Dental Hygienist
Diane is the new addition to our team. She graduated from La Cité Collégiale here in Ottawa in 1991. She is one of the most gentile person; her attention to detail and drive to deliver the best care to her clients makes her a patient focused hygienist offering comprehensive care. She is also bilingual: you can enjoy a conversation with her both in french and in english. When not at work, Diane enjoys time with her husband, her two beautiful daughters, and family and freinds. Taking long walks in Aylmer and the Gatineau park is also one of her favorite activity.
